Textile Center is a national nonprofit dedicated to honoring textile traditions and promoting excellence and innovation in fiber art. The center serves over 150,000 people every year through educational programming, exhibition opportunities, and community outreach. Textile Center offers support to fiber artists, textile art guilds, and fiber art collectors. There are two classes starting in January: 1) Beginning sewing - learn to read a pattern, cut fabric, sew on a machine, and do sleeves, darts, buttonholes, and zippers. You'll make a pair of pants and a simple dress. All materials provided except fabric. The cost is $100 for the four sessions, plus cost of fabric. 2) Beginners - Design and make your own prom dress!
